Helpful Hints:
- Arrive EARLY for the Narrows hike. Be on the very first shuttle bus into Zion Canyon.
- For the Narrows hike, wear water shoes with a hard sole. You can rent shoes and other gear. Make sure your footwear is broken-in to avoid blisters.
- There are 2 ways to enter the slot canyons: From Upper Dry Fork parking lot, you will go through Dry Fork Narrows to get to Peekaboo and Spooky. From Lower Dry Fork parking, follow the cairns to the slot canyon entrance. (slot canyon map)
- You will need to scramble up the entrance to Peekaboo like the warped wall. There should be a rope but it’s unattached so one person has to get to the top and hold the rope. Bring lots of water!
- Hell’s Backbone Grill is a MUST-DO! This was one of our 3 top dining experiences of all time.
